i hate the color chartreuse because it sounds like it should be pink and i always thought it was pink but it’s actually a disgusting yellow-green and learning that in middle school or whenever i learned that was so upsetting that i’m still upset by it

puce is also horrid because that’s a bad word sound and should only apply to vomit green but it’s purple
