This might come as a shock to some of you but saying “I’m not informed enough on this particular topic to have an opinion” is about 100 times more respectable than being misinformed

I know in school they often teach us that ‘I don’t know’ is the worst possible answer and that you are better off making your best guess than admitting ignorance, but that’s because the educational system is a dumpster fire, and this is a habit that it pays to un-learn.

as an independent artist, you can’t truly reach your full commission yield potential until you sell out to furries

legit artist advice, particularly to artists who don’t get enough commissions? learn to draw both human and animal anatomy. be willing to draw for paying furry customers. it doesn’t have to be your favorite, you don’t have to personally involve yourself in the fandom, and it certainly doesn’t have to be adult-oriented work – but furries are some of the most supportive and easy to work with commissioners out there. it sounds silly on the surface, but it’s worth it.

sell out to furries. use your furry money to kickstart your dreams or buy yourself a sandwich or something

this seems niche as fuck but it’s true
