Do they like to show affection by physically teasing? (I.E: Shoulder punches, etc.):

Used to! Alcatraz was a pretty friendly guy. Him being military only makes it worse; he, Chino, Leavenworth and all the others were reasonably close from what’s said in canon. Even the scene in the Swordfish has them prodding each other in a really friendly, light way. Anymore, though, between the brain-reshuffle and the absolute strength of the N2, he both doesn’t care and isn’t able to without breaking bones.

Do they appreciate hugs? Would they prefer to give hugs or receive hugs? What kind of hugs do they like to receive and/or give?:

He was never the huggy type, imo, but he wouldn’t turn them down. Part of it is he felt that it would drudge up uncomfortable memories of his pre-dementia mom. Anymore, as with general affection, he doesn’t really give it a spare thought. He’s got bigger fish to fry. But, he does appreciate recieving hugs especially so with the N2. Can’t exactly reciprocate, but it makes him feel more human. He used to be the sort to grab you one-armed and give you a pat on the back (very amicable!) but now he just kind of… sinks into whoevers’ arms happen to go around him. The suit doesn’t generate warmth so he’s kinda lizardy anymore, always looking for warm spots to hang out.

It’s an offhand mention, but the fact remains: Alcatraz is cold. Really, really cold. Even sitting in the sun in the dark suit, he still feels cold like a corpse.

It’s a combination of no bloodflow to really speak of (the suit has it’s own plumbing system) and all that chrome; it’s alien metal, but it conducts heat all the same and feels icy to the touch. Carbon itself also has a high heat conduction.

As for the other end of the spectrum, the game can suck one. Fire can’t appreciably set a nearly all-carbon object ablaze. There’s nothing inside to cook, anyway, aside from the nervous system, but wrapped in all that suit, I’m quite sure it’s fine. He can stand in considerable heat and feel little to nothing.

(atomic carbon has a boiling point of over 4 thousand kelvin, so, that’s my reasoning on the matter.)

Two headcanons you’ve never told anyone:

-Alcatraz actually doesn’t care what pronouns are tossed in his general direction. Both suit pilots have been male, but with the Ceph-soup thing, and the multiple personality issues, anything goes.

-For being such a strong, mobile supersoldier, he really likes to sit around and do a whole lot of nothing. The interview with Roger is just one point of that. He is conscious of any sort of persuasion, though; he’ll only talk if he wants to.

Three things they like to do in their free time:

-He usually walks around, honestly. The suit has kinetic charging methods, and walking in the sun doubles up methods to charge it more fully. ‘Course, he only likes this because the suit makes it “enjoyable” in some measure.

-He used to draw–doodling anything. Ironically, he once stuck a post-it with aliens to Chino’s shoulder. He remembers this distantly and feels some kind of distaste for it.

-If we’re talking about things he legitimately enjoys, even without the suit’s dirty fingers in him, he likes to be around others. He was always quiet but he really does like being around people. Just the presence is pleasant to him.

Seven people they like:

-Chino (he really likes being around Chino, suit problems aside)

-Truth Newton in some capacity

-Barclay

-Strickland post-incursion

93, even if they don’t know each other that well.

-Prophet, sorta-kinda-maybe.

-Leavenworth, even if he was a jackass.

Two things they regret:

Not saying more to his unit-mates. They’re all gone, except Chino.

Not telling Chino about his bigger than he lets on crush. Now he can’t talk.

Two phobias they have:

Skinning, probably. He knows there isn’t enough of him left to survive that.

He used to fear drowning, but now he just views it as an inconvenience.
