I’ve been stung by a carpenter bee.  They’re usually pretty chill.

And dirt daubers are bros.  

It’s true you can pet Bumblebees

honeybees can actually safely pull their stingers out of your skin if you hold very very still for them! they do a little twist to remove it and fly off 🙂
