back in destiny one each of the enemy factions had little sub factions, the fallen had the different houses, the cabal had different legions, the vex had chassis color coated for their jobs, but they removed that in favor of.. streamlining the enemies?

and despite the fact that d1 had LESS enemy types (and the same amount of factions) than d2 does d2 just feels more empty without the variety in enemy, even if it was just in color!!

whenever house of wolves fallen would show up, id be like oh fuck it’s the house of wolves fallen! whenever those rowdy ass sand eaters appeared I’d be like fuck! that’s cabal but in a different color!

now it’s all samey and despite having icicles and particle effects the frozen hive look exactly like the hive on Titan and it’s all very disappointing

tldr: they removed a feature that made the game .01 percent more bearable to replay 4000 times because they have no idea what is good or not
