- cool air (wind, fan, direct AC)
- ginger ale, ginger gum
- MINT GUM has helped me so much. chewing gum also releases gas in your stomach, immediately taking away nausea sometimes
- smelling keys (i heard as a kid)
- smelling lemons, oranges, limes
- LAYING DOWN (if you can) helps a bunch. on your back.
- i listen to calm music, that helps the anxiety
- smelling something clean, fresh washed clothes
- push your pressure points in your wrist. 3 finger widths down, hold down your two tendons for about 30 seconds and then switch, or purchase sea-bands. it will cut off blood to a nerve area in the back of your stomach that will settle it. aside from mint gum i have found this to be the next most effective
what will make it worse:
- smelling food (try to go somewhere away from food)
- moving a lot
- HEAT
please message me if you need someone to talk to. i have awful anxiety and talking to someone who understands seems to help a bit. good luck guys. fight hard xx
these are all good! i was a very nauseous child and these are things i did to feel relief. also whenever I’d feel sick drinking water would sometimes make me feel worse, but chewing/sucking on ice cubes always did the trick (related to the cold thing).
