So Meg has confirmed on her patreon that what happened is true. Gavin and meg are issuing DMCA’s against news websites to get articles taken down, mostly because they contain their home address.

I’m sure they will talk about what happened in the future. But please as of right now, respect their privacy! They probably are incredibly shaken up. Looking at their twitter accounts, they just want to appear like nothing happened. Do not share news articles regarding what happened. Don’t look it up on Google either, as it’ll just add fuel to the flames. If you really are curious, send me an ask and I’ll respond privately.

But guys, please just leave them alone for right now. Don’t send them messages on twitter or anything. Just give them some space.

this goes for Ryan as well – please do not ask him if he knows anything. if he does know anything, he is purposefully keeping quiet about it. for good reason. please do not use him to pry into Meg and Gavin’s personal life.
