did u guys know that the porgs were invented because they were filming on this unesco world heritage site that was home to zillions of these endangered puffins and they weren’t allowed to shoo the puffins off the island lest they disrupt the island’s delicate ecosystem so rather than edit out all the puffins in post-production they decided to just make little digital costumes for them
