This week: Form follows function! You can tell a lot about a bird by its wings.

I can think of what kind of birds fit some of these, but I’m struggling with one:

• Active soar can be seen on seagulls, pelicans, and albatrosses
• Passive soar can be seen on ravens, vultures, and parrots
• Elliptical can be seen on…. chickens?
• High speed would be hawks and falcons
• Hovering can be seen on hummingbirds

What kinds of birds have elliptical?
